Above all, the Mercantile exists to provide tangible reminders of an intangible commitment: becoming better through action, serving where we can, standing for what is right, and holding ourselves accountable to the principles we claim to represent.

The Mercantile also helps provide members and supporters with a consistent way to represent the Order. When someone chooses to display the Raven Order name or symbols publicly, we hope they do so with an understanding that representation carries responsibility. The emblem should mean something because of the conduct of the person wearing it.
