From the Lewis PTA:

"On October 5, Portland Public Schools officially outlined three possible scenarios as part of their rightsizing process.

Those scenarios include one where Lewis Elementary closes, moving Woodstock neighborhood students outside of their local community for their K-5 education. This impacts the entire neighborhood. View the PPS scenarios

Lewis PTA obviously does not support Scenario A in which Lewis Elementary is forced to closed, nor do we support the closing of other fundamentally necessary neighborhood schools as the primary solution to the district's current challenges. Read our original position to the PPS rightsizing process"
