The 2026 Brittany Painter Legacy Memorial Award Recipient is

Created to honor Brittany?s legacy, this award recognizes a young showman or volunteer who exemplifies hard work, kindness, perseverance, generosity, and service to others.

Among the many deserving nominations, Koyle stood out for his resilience, selflessness, and dedication to his family, community, and future. He was presented with a memorial belt buckle and a $1,000 cash award made possible through donations and T-shirt sales.

We are deeply honored and grateful to the fair for recognizing Brittany this year with a Blue Ribbon Award the highest honor that can be bestowed. Britt, I hope you?re smiling. We miss you big?

Brittany loved showing and working at the Lassen County Fair. On behalf of her family, they have created an annual memorial buckle and cash award that will be awarded each year to one recipient on auction Sunday right here at the Lassen County Fair.

All profits from these items will be going to the winner of this belt buckle!
