Support Community Cats Through GLAAS?s TNVR Program
The Green Lake Area Animal Shelter (GLAAS) is proud to be developing a Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program to help the feral and community cats in Green Lake County and surrounding areas.
As a small nonprofit animal shelter, we see firsthand the growing number of homeless cats in our community. Without intervention, unaltered cats continue to reproduce, leading to larger colonies, more kittens born outdoors, overcrowded shelters, and increased strain on rescue organizations and compassionate caregivers.
TNVR is a humane, effective approach that helps reduce overpopulation by humanely trapping community cats, having them spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returning them to the outdoor areas they call home. This improves the health of community cats, prevents future litters, and reduces the number of cats entering shelters.
Every purchase makes a difference. All proceeds from this fundraiser support GLAAS?s Community Cat Program and help cover the costs of:
- Spay/neuter surgeries
- Vaccinations
- Humane traps and trapping supplies
- Transportation
- Basic veterinary care
Whether a cat is feral, friendly, or somewhere in between, every dollar raised helps homeless cats in need.
As a nonprofit organization, GLAAS relies on the generosity of our community to make programs like this possible. Your purchase is more than just apparel?it?s an investment in a long-term solution that helps reduce suffering, improve the lives of community cats, and create a healthier future for both cats and our community.
Thank you for supporting Green Lake Area Animal Shelter and our TNVR efforts. Together, we can make a lasting difference?one cat at a time.
