Our Story

The idea for this storefront actually started with a common family dilemma. I noticed my family constantly gravitating toward their "tried-and-true" sweaters?the well-loved, worn-out pieces they?d outgrown but couldn't bear to let go of. Finding high-quality, comforting replacements wasn't easy. When I started working as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, I also found myself gravitating towards comfort clothing.

While developing my professional counseling business name, of which is still in the works, my father actually admitted to me, "At first, I wasn't sure about Avenue as a name for therapy, but then I thought about the French translation. In French, the meaning is more of a, "to come to, to arrive, or the future." For us, his words hit home, and ? venir & Co. was born. It perfectly captures the therapeutic journey?leaving behind what was, grounding yourself in the present, and stepping intentionally into what is to come.
