This merchandise is meant to support my efforts to design and create leather products that pass the test of time, age with grace and respect both the planet and the health of tannery workers. All my leather is vegetable-tanned, an age-old, environmentally friendly process. Just as I believe in the #slowfashionmovement, I also believe in the #slowfoodmovement, and therefore I want to show support for the farmers, shepherds, ranchers, gardeners, naturalists, conservationists, field biologists, chefs and other folks who committed to the land. A new breed of farmers is spreading around the world, away from the industrial agriculture that has ravaged our planet for almost a century now. A new generation of chefs gets involved in the food production. This is encouraging.
