Back in 2004?when Booklyn was just five years old?we launched the first edition of the Booklyn Education Manual. Conceived by Jamie Munkatchy and Eleanor Whitney of our education department, the Manual was so popular when we first shared it, the number of downloads nearly broke our website!

To date, 30 artists and educators have contributed to this beloved manual that includes 6 binding instructionals, 20 lesson plans, a glossary, a resource list, and countless drawings of adorable underwater creatures. It's been a great resource to educators and individuals of all learning levels.

In 2021, we redesigned the manual, which you can download for free here. In 2022 we are translating the manual into several languages. Proceeds from these t-shirt sales will help support the Spanish language translation, which will also be available as a free download on our website and distributed at workshops throughout NYC.
