After a few months of feeling extremely fatigued and not acting like the Kendall we all know and love, Kendall had an MRI. After his 2nd MRI, it was determined he needed surgery to have a mass removed from his left temporal lobe. Kendall had surgery on August 18th and was diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma- wildtype, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Although surgery was successful with a full resection of his tumor, glioblastoma likes to plant itself as soon as it starts. So, there is still microscopic cancer cells in his brain, which needs chemo and radiation. He has not decided what form of treatment, if any, he is going to do yet, BUT he still has lots of appointments and check ups on this new journey. We thought these shirts would be a fun way for those of you who want to support Kendall and even incorporated one of his favorite sayings....."it is what it is". :) He is tough and we are hopeful. All we know for sure, is he isn't fighting alone. We will be with him every step of the way. We are so grateful for your support this far.....
