I am walking the Susan G. Komen 3-Day because breast cancer is deeply personal to me. I was diagnosed in 2024 and spent the past year navigating chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, completing active treatment in the summer of 2025. Today, I am in the recovery and survivor phase, continuing my journey with ongoing care to help reduce the risk of recurrence. As a mom of five, every step I take is for my family-and for every woman facing this disease. I'm walking to honor survivors, support those currently in treatment, and remember those we've lost.
