On May 1, 2025, our sweet Sayler was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. To say it was a shock would be an understatement. This journey has been difficult, emotional, and overwhelming for all of us.
If you don?t know Sayler, she?s a spunky six-year-old with a heart full of joy and sass! She loves playing school (as the teacher, of course), dancing, singing, swimming, going to church, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She truly brings life wherever she goes.
We are still learning how to manage Sayler?s blood sugar levels, especially as she navigates the unpredictable ?honeymoon phase? of T1D. It?s been a rollercoaster, some days are okay, and others are really hard. What was once new and ?kind of fun? (to her) has become her daily struggle, and we?re doing everything we can to support her.
We?re selling these shirts to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes and to show Sayler just how many people are standing behind her. Every shirt purchased is not just a donation, it?s a reminder to Sayler that she is loved, supported, and never alone. On the tough days, we?ll remind her of the army of people wearing these shirts in her honor.
We?re also excited to share that we?ll be participating in the Breakthrough T1D Walk (formerly JDRF) on November 2, 2025 in Nashville! If you?d like to join our team and walk with us, we would absolutely love that. But if you can?t be there in person, purchasing a shirt is just as meaningful and shows Sayler the same level of love and support.
If you aren?t able to purchase a shirt, we ask for your prayers. We believe strongly in the power of prayer and that our God is still in the miracle-working business.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love, support, and prayers. We appreciate each of you more than words can say.
With love,
The Suiter Family ?
