Since August 20th, our friend Ira has been fighting for his life in the ICU after complications from surgery. After initially improving, he took a devastating turn and now requires ECMO and life-sustaining treatment. On September 30th, Ira was strong enough to have a tracheostomy placed! It is a great step, but he still has a long road ahead of him as his medical team works to optimize Ira's health!
