Our Dad, Lee Wood, was diagnosed with Bulbar On-Set ALS. This affects your speech, respiration and swallowing first. His ability to speak is waning and he has a feeding tube to prevent further weight loss. Thankfully his respiration is fine at this time.

ALS is a terminal disease that has no known cure or means of prevention.
