Team Tommy for Cure RTD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Cure RTD Foundation in their mission to find a cure for Riboflavin Transporter Deficiency (RTD). Cure RTD saves lives through education, advances in treatment, and the search for a cure for RTD. Riboflavin Transporter Deficiency is a genetic, neurodegenerative, and life-shortening disease. It is also extremely rare with only about 400 people in the world with a confirmed diagnosis. Our ultimate goal is to provide a better future for those impacted by this terrible disease by finding improved treatment options and eventually a cure!

Team Tommy for Cure RTD was founded in 2023 and is based in West Chester, PA. It was formed in honor of Tommy O?Rourke, who was diagnosed with RTD in April 2022 just after his second birthday. Since Tommy?s diagnosis, Team Tommy has made it their mission to do everything in their power to make the dream of a cure for RTD into a reality. They work with the Cure RTD Foundation to spread awareness, raise funds, and continue to empower RTD families to be the best advocates for themselves and their children.
