Nathan was born with multiple rare diseases leading to a life that is unimaginable for any child. His main diagnosis is Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome. It is a multi-organ disorder that has a high probability leading to a bone marrow transplant.
He has been through over 15 surgeries and we have traveled from Seattle to Maine to find the best doctors we can. He never lets his struggle be a road block. At 11 years old he only knows how to find joy in his pain. It is inspiring.
We are launching this fundraiser to cover our recurring medical trips to Cincinatti Childrens Hospital where he will undergo extensive testing and more surgeries.
