At Button 2026, Lena Shyryna, Head of Content Design at Kyiv Digital, gave a keynote on designing push notifications people trust. Kyiv Digital is a city app used by over 4 million Kyiv residents, and during the war its notifications became a way to warn people about air raids and power outages.

Lena talked openly about what that work means in a city under attack. During her session, attendee Am?lie posted a short message in the conference Slack: "Thanks for talking about the elephant." A lot of people in the audience felt the same way.

With Am?lie's permission, we put her words on a shirt. All proceeds go to Children of Heroes, an organization Lena chose, to provide long-term support to children who have lost one or both parents because of the war.
