I?m launching these Bonfire apparel campaigns to help my husband and me cover essential living expenses and prepare for the loss of our health insurance in January 2027. We currently live on my husband?s Social Security and a little savings. My disabilities and chronic health conditions have significantly limited my ability to work, and finding income that fits those limitations has been difficult. Writing and creating give me ways to contribute, even when my health makes a traditional job impossible.

Without health insurance, the cost of our medications alone will be challenging to afford, before we even consider appointments, testing, or unexpected medical needs. These are expenses we cannot simply wish away or indefinitely postpone.

These campaigns are a way to turn my creativity into something practical: apparel that expresses shared values, offers encouragement, and perhaps gives someone a much-needed smile. My hope is to build a modest source of income through work I can do within my physical limits. If a design speaks to you, purchasing a shirt will help us meet those needs. Sharing a campaign with others can help, too. I know many people are facing financial uncertainty themselves, and I appreciate every kind word and gesture of support.
