We are so blessed to have Becky as a wife, mother, neighbor, and friend. To know her is to love her, because she has always loved deeply. She loves her family, her Wolfpack, and the many friends who have been such a special part of her life. She has touched so many hearts simply by being Becky.
In October 2025, our world changed when Becky was diagnosed with Rapid Onset Alzheimer?s / Vascular Dementia. What followed was a heartbreaking and rapid decline that none of us could have ever prepared for. Watching someone you love so deeply face this disease is something you can never fully understand until it touches your own family. Alzheimer?s and dementia affect so much more than memory. They affect families, relationships, and the everyday moments we once took for granted.
Through it all, we have been reminded of the power of love, faith, family, and the people who stand beside you when life takes an unexpected turn. We are forever grateful for everyone who has prayed for us, encouraged us, helped us, and walked alongside us through Mom?s diagnosis. Your love and support have meant more than words can express. We truly couldn?t be more thankful for each of you.
Now, we are walking for Becky. We are walking for the memories, the love she has given us, and the moments this disease has taken from our family. We are walking for every family who knows the heartache of watching someone they love change because of Alzheimer?s or another form of dementia. And we are walking with hope that one day, other families won?t have to experience this same pain.
Alzheimer?s isn?t stopping, and neither are we.
By participating in the Alzheimer?s Association Walk to End Alzheimer?s, we are raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease. These funds help the Alzheimer?s Association provide 24/7 care and support for families while accelerating critical research toward prevention, treatment, and ultimately, a cure.
Families facing Alzheimer?s and all other forms of dementia need us. We know firsthand how much this fight matters, and we hope you?ll join us in making a difference. Please consider making a donation, registering as a participant, or starting your own fundraising efforts. Every donation, every step, and every act of support brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer?s.
We walk for Mom. We walk for our family. We walk for all the families who are walking this difficult road. And we walk with the hope that one day, no family will have to face this disease.
Thank you for loving Becky, for loving our family, and for standing beside us. Your support means more than you will ever know.
With love and gratitude,
Stephen, LeAnna, JoAnne, and Aaron
