Join Rising Hearts and Women In Ultrarunning for the 7th Annual Truthsgiving virtual 4 & 2 miler to support our efforts in informing every participant about what Truthsgiving is and means through the lens of our heart work and communities, and gain a new perspective. This is one way we can also recognize and celebrate Native | Indigenous Heritage Month.
Rather than celebrating so-called Thanksgiving for the reasons we grew up knowing from textbooks and inaccurate historical accounts - expand your knowledge and become an ally/friend with Indigenous Peoples. We hope to also give more visibility to and support those in the #LandBack movement, to uphold Indigenous sovereignty, honor Treaty rights, and protect the lands where Indigenous knowledge can care, protect, preserve, and restore the lands we stand on and run with today, and for the next generations.
