Everyone who runs a marathon for charity has a reason. Here?s mine. ?

Growing up, cancer was something I obviously knew existed, but I was lucky enough that it hadn?t touched my life in a deeply personal way. That has changed. Over the past several years, I?ve know multiple people who have received cancer diagnoses, and I have witnessed the emotional toll cancer takes, on patients, and on everyone who loves them.

That?s why I?m running the London Marathon for @wcrfuk, the World Cancer Research Fund. They fund research into how cancer can be prevented, detected, and survived. Running for them is how I?m turning something that has felt helpless into something that moves forward.
