What makes a circus? It's the performers, of course. The coaches, the equipment, the wild ideas, and the hours of practice.

But at Wise Fool, circus has always been about something bigger: community.

This fall, we're launching our fundraising campaign, Community, Circus for Everyone, with a simple goal: to support the things we're already doing to make circus accessible, welcoming, and connected to our community.

From October through December, we'll be raising funds to help us:

• Bring new people into the studio
• Create opportunities for people to try circus, meet their neighbors, and find a place where they belong.
• Create accessible community experiences
• Offer donation-based workshops, events, and other ways to experience circus without cost being a barrier.
• Support youth programming
• Keep opportunities for young people to learn, perform, build confidence, and experience the joy of circus.
• Build out our new space
• Continue creating a functional, welcoming home for Wise Fool and the community we're building there.
