Wishbone Day is every year on May 6th to raise awareness for Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
Osteogenesis Imperfecta is a very rare genetic disorder that causes brittle bones along with a number of other issues. It has many varying severities and affects each person in different ways.
Our little warrior, Sawyer, was diagnosed in utero with this rare disorder. He was born with multiple broken bones and spent over 8 weeks in the NICU. He will continue to face challenges of broken bones, surgeries, and more during his lifetime.
