I have several family and friends who suffer from mental illness. They have all taught me how important it is to be a good and strong support advocate for them.
NAMI Southwest Ohio has been a great resource for me. So, I?m taking a walk for the May 10 NAMIWalks event at Sawyer Point Park, Cincinnati to raise funds for their efforts. It is a small way to say, "Thank you". It's a lot of fun. I get to meet new friends and reach goals I never thought I?d reach.
