What if the traits a system calls disorder are sometimes adaptations to the system itself?
Cognitive Ecology challenges the assumption that difference must be located as defect inside an individual. It asks us to look at the whole ecology: environment, trauma, sensory conditions, relationships, power, access, history, and the adaptations people develop to survive them.
?YOUR SYSTEM CALLED MY ADAPTATION A DISORDER? is a structural refusal. It turns the diagnostic gaze outward and asks a different question: What conditions made this adaptation necessary?
This campaign carries that question into public space. The spiral represents cognition as living, recursive, relational, and impossible to reduce to a box.
Not awareness merchandise. A wearable question.
