Last summer, our world changed forever. In 2025, our daughter, Zaariya, was diagnosed with choroid plexus carcinoma (CPC), a rare and aggressive childhood brain cancer. The past 12 months have been filled with surgeries, treatments, fear, hope, and more courage than we ever thought one little girl could have.

No family expects to hear the words, ?Your child has cancer.? Yet every day, families are forced to face that unimaginable reality. Childhood cancer is still the leading cause of disease-related death in children in the U.S., and brain tumors remain the most common solid tumors in children. Rare cancers like CPC desperately need more research and better treatment options.
