Baby Ziggy was saved from a kill pen in Oklahoma after he was sent to a livestock auction at only a few weeks old. Ziggy is the by product of canned zebra hunts legal in Oklahoma and Texas. As is the selling of exotic animals in those states, many of which are endangered species in Africa. We rescued Ziggy to stop him being bought by another one of these ranches to be used to breed and then be shot. He is our Ambassador to raise awareness and educate people about these terrible hunt ranches and we hope that with his help we can shut them down once and for all.
