If life was a card game, Igor got handed the deck that fell off the table, into a puddle, chewed up by the cat, and then spit up as a hairball. At just 4 years old, this bully boy has been through more than most dogs should in a dozen lifetimes.

? Abandoned being left for dead, Igor showed up to animal services emaciated with toenails ripped out, carrying a weakened heart from untreated heartworm disease, and worst of all ? living with a disfiguring, painful and disabling deformity of his neck and spine. Igor?s body is permanently tilted, twisted, and arthritic from either an old untreated injury or a birth defect. Either reason is the same conclusion however - both ultimately mean he has intentionally suffered extreme neglect and abuse by the ones who were supposed to love him the most. Igor is unable to lift his head, jump, run or do the most basic of things like bending over to eat/drink or even lay to sleep on his sides.

And yet? Igor radiates and greets the world with nothing but forgiveness, love and compassion (even to those who failed him) but ultimately he greets every moment with the sheer stubborn will to LIVE!

? Here?s the part where we refuse to let him down again.

With the proper therapies ? hydro, laser, acupuncture, pain management, and ongoing medical care ? Igor has the chance at a life with less pain, more mobility, and the independence he?s been robbed of.

? Here?s the part where we show him not all humans lack humanity. That humans will never hurt him again. 

But we can?t do it alone. Igor needs you.
