Pneuma (9) and Melo (3) were the most thoroughly beautiful and loving dogs I have ever known. They were full of personality, brought joy to every space they entered and helped me endure some truly heartbreaking years. In every sense, they were my family. More than that, though, they were my safe places and my lifelines.

Pneuma and Melo were wrongfully, maliciously and cruelly taken from this earth in April 2026 while I was abroad reuniting with my family members. I was notified on my last day of vacation that there was an emergency so they were en route to an emergency vet and every day since has been a bit of a blur. There are currently four individuals charged in a criminal case related to P + M's deaths and the (alleged) cover-up operations that followed, but the investigations are still pending and the case is fairly stagnant. There is also a pending civil suit that is aimed towards ensuring that justice will be brought forth on Pneuma + Melo's behalf and protecting any other animal from experiencing such cruelty from those same hands.

If/when you wear any of these pieces, please do so in ultimate honor of their beautiful lives that were senselessly taken and spread their story whenever possible! All proceeds from this merch will go directly towards legal fees for this ongoing battle and any excess will be reserved in a memorial fund on Pneuma + Melo's behalf - details on that to come. My direct fight is for their justice, but ultimately the fight is against animal cruelty of all kinds. Justice for Pneuma + Melo is justice for all of our animals, far and wide!
