Founded in 1977, Halleck Creek Ranch is a nonprofit equine-assisted services organization dedicated to breaking barriers and creating life-changing experiences for people of all abilities. Located in the Nicasio Valley of Marin County, HCR provides adaptive riding, equine-assisted learning, vocational programs, camps, and community experiences that foster confidence, connection, independence, and joy. With two ranch locations spanning 180 acres, HCR serves participants across the Bay Area through the powerful partnership between people, horses, programs, and place. Every lesson, volunteer hour, and act of generosity helps make these transformative experiences accessible to individuals and families who need them most.
