Why I?m Raising Money:

Behind the humor in these shirts is a very real reason I created this store.

A few years ago, I fought cancer. I went through surgery and then chemotherapy. I fought sepsis and severe COVID. While I was fortunate to make it through that chapter, the financial impact was significant and consumed a substantial portion of the savings I had spent years building. I worked hard to rebuild my life and was looking to move forward. Unfortunately, I walked straight into an abusive relationship.

Since the day I left, I have endured prolonged harassment, doxxing, litigation abuse, a smear campaign orchestrated by several individuals, and violations of my privacy. I am now facing substantial legal expenses simply to protect and defend myself against their false allegations.

Fighting back is expensive and the financial toll has become another form of harm in itself.

I'm also a mom of two and the sole provider for my children. The money being diverted toward legal expenses is money that would otherwise be used to support our home, their sports and activities, their education and opportunities, and the future I've worked so hard to provide for them. My children did nothing to deserve this, and I don't want them to become collateral damage in a situation they had absolutely nothing to do with.

That's why I created this store.

I'm not asking others to fight this battle for me. I'm fighting it. I'm working, raising my children, paying what I can, and finding creative ways to offset the enormous cost of protecting myself and my family.

Knot Vanilla is one of those ways. It's also a chance to create something positive out of an incredibly difficult experience; something funny, sex-positive, consent-centered, and unapologetically supportive of boundaries.

Every purchase helps me continue standing up for myself while protecting the financial stability and future I've worked so hard to build for my children. And if buying something isn't possible, simply sharing the store can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for helping me turn something painful into something purposeful and for reminding me that you can keep your sense of humor while fighting battles against the evil people of the world. ?
