ABANDONED IN A VAN now safe at Green Acres. Rose?s story is a strange one with a happy ending.

When law enforcement pulled over a van the occupant fled the scene. While arranging for the abandoned van to be towed the authorities discovered that a sheep was tied up inside. Medically Rose was under weight and had an extremely high parasite count. Rose has received all the treatment she needed to recover.

Eventually, the driver turned himself in and also surrendered the sheep which cleared the way for Rose to be permanently placed in sanctuary. Rose is a sweet sheep who is happily finding her place in our sheep herd.
